Just sat on the floor for the first time at a Pacers game.

For anyone who says NBA players don't put in any effort and aren't physical....sit on the floor. Your opinion will change real quick

Different view sitting on the court. My son was probably around 13 or 14 and we went to the Twolves game and sat on the court against New Orleans. You get valet parking, they have private lockers to check your coats. Then there is a meal with free drinks. Thought it was nice they had a New Orleans theme for the dinner. He had jambalya and pecan pie for the first time. Then we went to the court and watched them warm up. Chris Paul was with New Orleans and was one of my sons favorite players. During the game someone inbounded the ball and stepped on my sons foot when he turned and ran down the court. We still laugh about those size 14 stepping on his foot

Definitely a good time sitting on the floor.

Justin may I ask what you payed for the floor seats or were they given to you?
ive sat on the floor several times at pacers games. usually the same seats.
typically they are given away is my experience. ive never paid for mine anyway.
usually depending on who is playing. I think last night was charlotte, so they may have been available to purchase?

cool experience though. at bankers life you can go under the seats near the locker room and the players run out through a crowd. its pretty cool.

Do I need to run fucking youtube video evidence of fucking players being lazy and not even trying? It's not college basketball, bro. I could provide you HOURS OF CLIPS of players just half-assing it on defense and not even trying.... or not even giving a fuck about winning.

I remember a recent NBA game where a team was down by 6 or 7 points with about a minute left and both teams just walked the ball up the court, didn't foul, didn't even try to score quickly.... just didn't even care. And I mean either team. It was actually quite hilarious.

True. Ill get down on the floor for Sixers games once and a while. Very physical. You dont get to see it all on TV. When to 7 ft guys run into each other, there is a percussive thud!

Yea the bar area down there is really cool

It's funny how everybody dresses up when sitting on the floor. 90% of people down there were wearing suits. My boss and I were one of the only few wearing jeans and pacers Ts

i sat in some that were 2250 $ each.........great time talked to the opposing coach during the game....

don't get why you would pay that for a regular season game, hell you could get season tickets to a ton of place for that

Love it. The guy I go with is a HUGE shit talker. He picks 1 guy and verbally destroys him (keeps it clean, usually stats or who dropped 50 on him) until my buddy gets acknowledged. Then picks another guy on the away bench. Could be just a look right at him, been the finger a couple times, him whisper to a team mate and point over at us. We hoot and holler when it happens. It is so much fun.

never understood why people do this to players unless its just for attention. I mean do you just want acknowledgement from a pro athlete? I dont get it

Spot on! The game is a lot more physical than it appears on TV, especially for players when they do not have the ball. There is constant sprinting and running. Sitting close does give a much better view of the effort put in.
Overall, it is still a big step down from how physical past season have been and I think that is what people complain the most about. Comparing it to the past.

This day & age you can't be cursing out players.

Just ask this guy.....You go bye bye.
